The Valley High School Class of 1997 ten-year reunion is now just a few days away, so here are the last-minute questions and answers about the reunion dinner:
TIMES AND LOCATION:
RSVP DUE DATE:
- We need your RSVP cards by this Wednesday, August 15th
- If you don't think your mail will arrive in time, DON'T PANIC! Just send an e-mail to reunion //at// vhs1997.com and let us know to hold a spot for you...then put it in the mail as soon as you can.
- Please remember to RSVP whether you're coming or not -- we want to include everyone we can in the class directory, but we need your RSVP info to do it
- Download a blank RSVP card
and send it to Valley High School Class of 1997, Inc., PO Box 65223, West Des Moines, Iowa 50265
FOOD AND ATTIRE:
- Appetizers will include wings, cheese and crackers, tortilla rollups, and Swedish meatballs
- The dinner buffet will include two entrees (chicken and vegetarian lasagna), potato, vegetables, salad, rolls and butter, and dessert
- Wear whatever you're comfortable in. This isn't prom, and it's not a wedding reception...but it's also not the Iowa State Fair. If you really, really, really need a guideline, go for business casual...but remember whose fashion advice you're taking. I wasn't exactly the King of Bling.
SEND US YOUR PHOTOS:
- Whether you're coming or not, please send us two or three photos of yourself and what you've been up to over the last ten years. Send them to reunion //at// vhs1997.com and we'll include them in our slide show presentation that will be running during the registration and appetizers.
OTHER EVENTS:
- The reunion dinner is the only "official" event of the weekend; however, there are several other activities that people have organized on their own
- Friday night social for details on where people will be congregating on Friday night
- Saturday picnic for details on a family-friendly event on Saturday, starting at 11:30
