What a privilege -- to host a talk show on the Fourth of July! I'll have some thoughts on some of the great things about the American way that we need to keep an eye on...just to make sure no one messes with them.
- Our home ownership rate is one of the highest in the developed world
- More than half of Americans own stock -- meaning that we are the same "corporate America" that people complain about, so we can fix things if we really want to
- The free enterprise system works, as long as we allow it to
- We have the ability to stand up to evil, including the evil of genocide (as was undeniably the case in Iraq)
