Some personal favorite picks: Using technology to solve poverty, how to stop the damage caused by Kelo, how California could be worse than Russia if you're planning to start a new business, an analysis of how socialist US health care really is, and how Malaysia is pushing for an Islamic gold currency standard. A post about the job boom in India is just one more indicator (along with jobs moving from China to the Philippines) that the initial transition to global trade is already leading to higher wages in once-poor countries, which in turn alleviates some of the wage pressures about which workers in developed countries complain. Economic convergence: It may be coming to a world near you.

Tyco CEO was convicted last week of stealing $150 million from the company. Now they may use a letter he wrote in 1995 to decide his punishment. He put the screws to a former employee convicted of stealing from the company, calling the other guy's theft "a particularly egregious crime." That'll leave a mark.
