In yet another sign that the bureaucratic nonsense of the EU is going to slaughter Europe's long-term prospects for growth, the European Court of Justice has ruled that employers (including the public sector) can't use "experience" as a factor in determining pay. It's contrived by some as a step for gender-pay equality, but the plain fact is that once government buries itself that deep in telling employers what they can and can't do to compensate their employees, then it's curtains for the economy.
