You'd think Americans would be prouder of their republic than to care about foreign bluebloods...and that the British would think about getting their own. The Queen's not the only major British import on the way: The Guardian is launching Guardian America, a website intended to convert the paper's massive online success with Americans into a domestic movement. Though the US ought to draw the line at importing ideas like the absolutely terrible Big Brother microphones that the British are considering along with their preposterous barking surveillance cameras. It's utter madness.
