"Whatever it was that took place ... last night, it wasn't a debate"
The transcript of last night's Republican Presidential debate is long on words but short on anything new. Most of the questions were insipid, the moderation was overbearing, and far too little was said about reducing the scope of government. The Democratic debate of a week ago wasn't any more substantive. What would really be nice is if any of the 2008 Presidential candidates would talk about fixing the budget as their number-one priority. Much of what's being talked about sounds like college Marxism.
