Boeing is trying to assemble the 787 Dreamliner with an extremely lean just-in-time delivery system, and it's biting them in the soft parts. Delays at some suppliers are disrupting the entire chain, which in turn is causing cash-flow problems for other suppliers and threatening to mess up the entire system.
