Dear Chicago: Hosting the Olympics isn't worth it. I'm concerned about Chicago's plans to chase the opportunity to host the 2016 Olympic Games. As one of Illinois' neighboring states, I'm not sure we want to bring a big mess like that to the region.
The day after Thanksgiving isn't the biggest shopping day of the year, or even in the top five, but it's a big story that demands lots of media attention. The real story, though, is that with much greater access to broadband Internet, more people will be able to buy online (from home) than ever before.
